The English Studies Association Programme

The English Studies Association conducted some literary activities on Friday, 16 March, 2018.

     The venue for quiz programme in the forenoon (from 11 am to 1 pm) was II M.A. Classroom, NLBS I and the venue for the afternoon events (from 2 pm to 5 pm) was the seminar hall of Media Dept at NLBS 2. Dr.J.Muthulekha coordinated these events.

Department Seminar on Friday ,23 February,2018.

The speaker of tomorrow's (Friday, 23 February, 2018) departmental seminar was Prof. Nirmal Selvamony and the topic was: "When Theory Is At A Dead End." The seminar will start at 9.30 am.

Mrs. Aruna Raghavan wants to talk about a school she and her husband  have founded near Thiruvarur. From 9.30 am, we will have our department seminar in which Dr Sharadindu Bhattacharya will talk on "Embodying Trauma: The Holocaust and Art Spiegelman's Maus." Department Seminar on Friday ,02 February 2018.

Departmental seminar on Friday, 2 February, 2018, will be led by Dr T J Abraham who will speak on the topic, "THE SACRED, THE PROFANE, AND THE MESSIANIC: A CRITIQUE OF GIORGIO AGAMBEN'S POST-STATIST PROJECT." The seminar will commence at 9.30 am and all are invited to participate in it actively.
